How to Report illegal Dumping and Sediment in ten mile creek

great horned owl

As earth moving begins on Pulte's Creekside at Cabin Branch development the stream is likely to become cloudy after rainstorms and sediment will be most visible to the public at the stream ford. FoTMC members have also noticed more instances of illegal dumping at the ford and along West Old Baltimore Road. If you see Ten Mile Creek clouded with sediment or illegal dumping in the watershed, please consider filing a complaint, and send an email to FOTMC (mail@tenmilecreek.org), with pictures if possible.

To file a sediment complaint, you may call 311 or fill out the form at this link. You will need to provide an address for the property site in violation, along with the date and time. If it is apparent that it is from the Pulte Creekside at Cabin branch development, the address is: Shiloh Farm Investments, 22300 Clarksburg Road, 20841.
